Becoming The Leader
The goal of discipleship as discussed by Jesus is for the disciple to become like the teacher. He stated: “The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher”(Luke 6:40).
Additionally, Jesus summarized His expectations of His disciples at His departure, stating: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:18-19a). The Program Leadership Tracks prepare the disciple to become like the Leader, the Master Teacher.
